New Hardware expansion for the Toshiba HX-MU900 MSX Audio
   Hardware
   Written by Repair Bas
   Friday 29 January 2010 - 16:29

The Toshiba HX-MU900 Music Module can now be expanded with a circuit board. On this circuit board you’ll find 256 KB memory which is used for demos like Unknown Reality of the software group NOP.
Besides that you’ll need some parts for the MSX-Audio Basic. The package comes complete with all necessary parts, like the ROM, SRAM, Capacitors, resistors and some wires. Now you can use the Music Module in Basic with easy to use commands like _AUDIO (this will play music which is written for the FM-PAC through the Music Module). All Basic commands for the FM-PAC will work on the Music Module with this expansion.
Software like Compile software (Disc Station, Golvellius, Gorby’s Pipeline) will work with this expansion.

This Eprom is a double version, because the original Toshiba software is still usable and some software-bugs are fixed. With ESC you can start the Toshiba Software.

This expansion will be delivered by WWW.BAS-DITTA.INFO & WWW.SUPERSONIQS.COM.

This expansion will be sold as package which you can build in yourself (you need to have some soldering experience) or which can be build in by us. Very Soon there will be an English manual online on how to built in this Do It Yourself kit.

The prices:

Toshiba HX-MU900 Music Module expansion kit: € 30,--
Toshiba HX-MU900 Music Module expansion kit including installation: € 50,--
